SPR 2015

15 Student Travel Awards (600 €) will be available to support participation at the 46th international SPR meeting in Philadelphia, USA.

Student members of EU-SPR are eligible to apply for a travel award if: (a) they are master or doctoral students; (b) they are in good standing in their graduate program (and they will still be a student at the time of their presentation), (c) their SPR membership is current, (d) they are first author on a paper or poster presentation, and (f) they will register for and attend the conference to present their work and receive their award in person.

Students who received an award for the 2014 meeting in Copenhagen may apply, but will be considered only if the number of new applications remains below 20.

Applications should include a cover page, an abstract of the presentation, a short CV, the accreditation of the student status, and the accreditation of current SPR membership. As soon as available, the acceptance letter from the SPR meeting should be added.

All awards are paid after the meeting upon receipt of attendance verification (received at the registration on site), an invoice for the awarded sum with bank account details, and a brief report on the conference.

Applications should be submitted to the chapter president (henning.schauenburg@med.uni-heidelberg.de), until January 1st, 2015 and reviewed by the European Student Award Committee (H. Schauenburg, U. Willutzki, W. Tschacher).

Notifications of award winners will be sent out in March 2015.
