Travel Information

Philadelphia, also known as "Philly" and "The City of Brotherly Love," is the 5th most populated city in the U.S.! It is home of The University of Pennsylvania, located in the University City neighborhood and founded by Benjamin Franklin. Penn is a beautiful urban campus with gorgeous architecture and loads of little coffee shops, where an inspired, young, and creative culture is blooming. Penn is also the second-largest medical research and education center in the United States! Penn is conveniently situated in the middle of a historic and vibrant city, where the Founding Fathers first got together to sign The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution. Philly is known for its gorgeous parks and rivers, and vibrant arts and culture, including The Philadelphia Art Museum steps featured in the "Rocky" movies, the Franklin Institute, and Reading Terminal Market. We also boast top restaurants, as well as cheesesteaks and soft pretzels as hallmarks of authentic Philly cuisine.
